Today, I will be sharing a first set of shots from my trip to the Maldives.
What and incredible experience it has been! Those crystalline waters and white sand beaches were simply unbelievable! They provided the amazing background and lighting for great photo sessions. Today’s series is particularly dedicated to the theme of jewellery.
I don’t know about you but my relationship with jewels goes back to my childhood. Whenever I would see my mother put on her jewellery, I would wait for her to go and secretly sneak into her room and try to imitate her. I think this is something that most of us girls have done, wether it was our mothers’ jewels, dresses, high heels or purses :)… I used to love hearing her stories about how this or that time, my father had offered her a ring or a necklace. It seemed that for her, these jewels were more than a valuable item to own, they hold a huge sentimental value that remind her of special moments. To her and to so many women out there, jewellery is a proof of love, the type that is enduring and which so many of us have been dreaming to get since our childhood.
As far as I’m concerned, I have always had a special interest for rings. I’m always wearing several at a time, whatever moment or day it is… I love rings because they are an accessory that is easy to wear. Also, they enable us to add this special touch to our own style. Therefore, as I love paying attention to the small details, I believe that jewellery and rings are the accessories that are indispensable to complete any of my looks.
As mentioned before, many jewels can bear a special meaning… This ring from Edenly Jewellery reminds me of one that my mother used to own (and therefore of my mother). I love it because it has a classic touch that is both refined and ageless. It adjusts perfectly to my style and personality which is something that each one of us has to account for when we purchase a piece of jewellery.
So what is your favourite type of jewel?
I hope you enjoy the photos and will be looking forward to your comments :)…

Espero vuestros comentarios.
