Hello everyone!

As some of you might have noticed, I´ve been traveling frequently to LA in the past few months. It has become somewhat of a second home for me. I don´t know what it is about that place but I just LOVE it and I think that I try to go back there as much as I possibly can.

One thing that I never miss out on is to look up good eats, bars and shopping venues prior to my arrival. I guess this is an exercise that any person will do before traveling to a new destination. In my specific case, it is even more important as I live most of my time abroad and need to know that information in order to keep a somewhat functional routine.

Therefore, I thought that today, it would be a great idea to share some spots that I found out about in my several trips in LA. I think it will also be refreshing to steer away from fashion (even for a day). More specifically, I´ll be taking you on a brunch tour and to three places that I went to during my last stay in the city of Angels.

LARCHMONT BUNGALOW

1.- Larchmont Bungalow (107 N Larchmont Blvd.): located in one of my favourite spots of the city, Larchmont Blvd. The area has the feel of a village and the main street is filled with charming boutiques offering original and quality products. They have a wide array of selection on their menu. You could go there every day of the week for several weeks and not have to repeat the same dish. I´ve been there on a previous occasion and it is undoubtedly one of my favourites in Los Angeles (so far…).

REPUBLIQUE

2.- Republique (624 S La Brea Av.): it is one of those places that have this “je ne sais quoi”. I had already read about it and the photos of the place looked lovely. However, being there sends out a whole different vibe. The decoration is very original, the space wide and the ambiance is laid back, which is why I suppose that many people hang out there to work. For the sweets lovers, the pastry section has a wide selection of delicious products and serve a coffee to die for.

GO GET´EM TIGER

3.- Go Get´em Tiger (230 N Larchmont Blvd.): I discovered that place last year while hanging out with my friend Anine Bing. It´s been on top of my list since I tried it. Everytime I visit, I try stop by at least once. My favourite on their menu? the avocado toast with tomato and shreds of onions and radish. Simple but delicious.

3.- Go Get them Tiger (230 N Larchmont Blvd): Este café me lo descubrió el año pasado mi amiga Anine Bing. Delicioso.
